The Children's Society holds its special Christingle appeal each year to raise vital funds for the children facing life's harshest challenges.
The theme of this year’s light party was “Journeys”. Balloon rockets raced along the hall, there were competitions to see who could take the longest to ride a bike across the hall, who could build the tallest tower from marshmallows and spaghetti and who could transfer the greatest number of pieces of dried pasta from one bowl to another using … chopsticks.
