Diocese of Sittwe
All Saints actively supports the work of the Diocess of Sittwe in Myammar(Burma).
The Diocese of Sittwe covers the western part of Myanmar. Its 15,000+ members are almost all Khumi-Chin people living in remote villages, only accessible by canoe or on foot, in the mountainous area near to the Bangladesh and Indian Borders. The Bishop,the Rt.Rev.Barnabas Theaung Hawi, sees the need for the spiritual teaching of children and young people.
All Saints supports the Sunday School and Youth work, providing finance for training Sunday School teachers, for provision of teaching materials, for youth training and the outreach programme in the 23 parishes. Our support helps the Diocese do far more to ensure that children and young people in remote villages are built up in their faith.
